Race Lodging

August is the peak tourist month in Montana for the summer outdoor season.  We are pleased to be working with four great hotels in Bozeman and Ennis to provide a comfortable lodging experience to our runners, crews, pacers, friends, and volunteers participating in any of the Rampage the Roots running events. Runners, volunteers, and support staff also have the option of sleeping on the Pony Gym floor or pitching a tent on the grounds.  This puts you 2 blocks from the start of the race. There is also a National Forest Campground just 9 miles from Pony (details below).  Another great option is the campground at Norris Hot Springs (details below).

BOZEMAN HOTELS

1)  HILTON GARDEN INN

2)  COMFORT INN AND SUITES

ENNIS HOTELS

1)  FANN MOUNTAIN INN

2)  SILVER TIP INN

PONY GYM AND GROUNDS
Runners and support staff may sleep in the Pony Gym at a cost of only $10 (bring your own pad and bag), or pitch a tent on the grounds for just $15.  The gym has running water, a bathroom, and tables and chairs, but no showers.

NORRIS HOT SPRINGS
A great options about 15 minutes drive from Pony.  It does not get any better than this.  Run an ultra, enjoy a great post race meal, and head over to the Norris Hot Springs for a post race soak and the evening.  Reservations are limited and first come, first serve.  Click Here for reservations.

POTOSI CAMPGROUND

The Potosi campground is in the Beaverhead National Forest up Potosi Canyon, 9 miles from Pony, about a 25 minute drive.  Camping is first come, first serve, without reservations.  There is no cell phone reception at the campground. Google for directions.
